This is an entry for the contest of :iconartsaves1228: . I wanted to draw her for a long time now and this was a great opportunity.

The title was a suggestion from Robin for my last drawing and I thought it would be perfect for this one. :) I wanted to add in this drawing some of the elements that she uses in her art like the butterfly and the bloody tears but as you know she also changes the references in her art and I wanted to do that here. I know some of the changes aren't big but it's all related to her art.

As an explanation to the title and the 'concept' the red butterfly sacrifices itself for her (the bloody tear comes from the butterfly) and the blue one is the one that gives life (heals her). At first a I wanted to stick to one additional color like red but I always saw red as a color of death and blue as the color of life. I really hope you like it and that I managed to express my ideas.

yay I was waiting to see your piece! its so weird cause I was JUST thinking about it then I saw this in my devwatch :excited: I LOVE the concept behind it, thats really what Im looking for in the contest too...being able to tell a little story or lots of emotion behind the drawing. The hair is awesome and of course the butterflies :drool: :worship:

I am so glad you like. I must admit I was a bit nervous about it :giggle: Everything in this drawing is inspired from your art and I was a bit nervous to put all the things together. :)

I forgot to mention: I like the very calm inner deep expression. It is very appealing to me. Fave was between 0-5 secs when I saw it.
